Arts organizations who received a grant from Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council (PLRAC) with funding from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Program will need to begin using the Legacy Logo in their publicity. This is in addition to the “Credit Line” you currently are using for the grant.
As noted in your PLRAC Grantee Contract all organizations must include the following credit line in all advertising, news releases, printed programs, and promotional material: “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.”

The Logo is available in several formats for grantees to use. Please refer to this website. http://www.legacy.leg.mn/legacy-logo
Background: The Legacy Logo is to be used to identify all projects funded by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. This logo illustrates the clean water, outdoor heritage, parks and trails, and arts and cultural heritage funds that were established following passage of the Legacy Amendment in November 2008. The logo will be displayed throughout the state at Legacy Amendment supported projects, in print, on signs and other materials reflecting the support of Minnesota residents via our vote in 2008. Look for this logo on materials of the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council and the other ten regional arts councils, when the Legacy Amendment is the source of funding for that project.
Legacy Website: http://www.legacy.leg.mn/
This website was created by the Minnesota Legislature to help citizens monitor how dollars from the Legacy Amendment and the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund are being invested in the state. On this site you can track the progress of hundreds of funded projects, see how funds are being invested in your community and learn how you can apply for funds.
